SmartBackup for Smartsheet

SmartBackup addresses the backup and restore needs of all Smartsheet licensed users. It includes a backup function, an archive function, and an export function, and provides full-fidelity backups of your Smartsheet sheets. This means that you can easily restore rows, data, and sheets including Conditional Formatting, Formulas, Cell Links, Forms, and Attachments. It provides additional features not available in any other offering, such as a catalog to keep track of what has been backed-up, archived, and exported, and support for DRP Recovery and Compliance/Governance requirements.

SmartBackup is a next generation cloud-enabled backup platform for Smartsheet.

SmartBackup for Smartsheet allows you to automatically create full-featured backup copies of your sheets, which means that if you encounter a data loss or data corruption situation, you can very easily restore any or all the data, cell formatting, formulas, forms, attachments, and functionality of the original sheet. It supports incremental, full, and selective backups.

The Home screen shows an overall status and summary of your SmartBackup environment. It includes information about the SmartBackup Vault, the SmartBackup Archive, and the SmartBackup Export functions. It also provides a summary view of all your sheets in Smartsheet and shows how often your sheets are being changed over time, to help you decide how often you should backup your sheets.

The Backup view provides an overall status of your backups, and it provides a list of the sheets that were recently backed-up together with links to the source sheets and the backup sheets. This view allows you to run a backup now or to setup a schedule that runs automatically. You can choose which sheets to backup using the number of days slider. This allows you to backup only the recently changed sheets, or to backup all your sheets.

The Archive view shows the overall status of the Archive function and it provides a way for you to run the archive function now, or to setup a schedule to run automatically. You can choose which backups to archive, by using the number of days slider. It also shows the backups that were recently archived, and you can sort the table using any of the fields.

In the Export view, you can see a summary of the overall Export status, and you can run the export function now, or you can setup a schedule to run automatically. You can also see previous Exports, and the table shows all sheets that were recently exported.

SmartBackup is available in two editions - Business Edition and Enterprise Edition, and we offer a free, no obligation trial of the Enterprise Edition. The Business Edition is best suited for small teams, and has all of the capabilities of the core solution. It can be used by up to five Smartsheet Members. SmartBackup Enterprise Edition is designed for company-wide deployments, and is generally installed, configured, and managed by a central Admin or IT team.
