The Smartsheet partner program is at an important moment — evolving, growing, and adapting to our next phase as a private company. That’s why we are excited to welcome Scott Strubel as our new Head of Americas Partnerships. He will help shape the next generation of our program throughout Canada, the United States, and LATAM.

Scott brings a wealth of experience, having worked extensively across partnerships, direct sales, and professional services. Most recently, he served as the Vice President, Americas Partner Organization, at Darktrace, where he was responsible for indirect revenues with partners throughout all countries of the Americas. Scott also previously held partner and sales leadership roles across SaaS companies from early-stage, hyper-growth ventures to mature enterprises such as Hitachi, Commvault, and NetApp.

"I'm incredibly excited to join Smartsheet at such a significant time for the company and our burgeoning partner ecosystem," says Scott. "My extensive experience has given me a unique perspective on how strategic partnerships drive real growth. I'm eager to leverage that insight to further amplify our partner program, ensuring we deliver even greater value to our customers and achieve remarkable success together."

As our partner program continues to expand and mature, Scott's leadership will be pivotal. He has a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in building and nurturing alliances in our mature markets US and Canada as well as the emerging Latam region, and is experienced with all types of partners including the core channel distributors and resellers, system integrators, ISV’s, OEM’s and MSP’s. We are confident that Scott will drive innovation, enhance partner engagement, and further solidify our position in the market, leading our Americas Partnerships to new heights to support our overall company growth plans.

The evolving Smartsheet partner program

Our partner program is currently transforming to solidify our commitment to a truly partner-centric strategy, including partner-first markets, designed to accelerate growth globally. Partners are an integral part of our company, and, as such, we're building a program that offers a straightforward path to mutual success, empowering them with the resources, training, and support necessary to thrive. This approach is about more than just transactions; it's about fostering deep, collaborative relationships that drive innovation and deliver exceptional value to customers worldwide.

Moving forward, we are further expanding our partner ecosystem with global system integrators, technology partners, resellers, distributors. We are also globalizing our overall partner program and creating new ways to partner with Smartsheet, including a Customer Success Manager certification and Brandfolder program track. However, expanding throughout the Americas will play a key part in this evolution, broadening our reach and scaling to different customer segments and verticals.

We’ve already made exciting strides towards this new vision in the Americas, with our recently announced partnership with CDW and new distributor, Climb Channel Solutions. These collaborations represent a significant milestone, marking many strategic alliances designed to unlock new markets and dramatically increase our customer presence. Through partnerships like CDW and Climb, we anticipate achieving a 50% increase in partner-driven revenue year-over-year.

We are proud to welcome Scott to our global partnerships team to lead our Americas group. We are confident that he will enhance our ability to forge stronger alliances, drive growth, and deliver even greater value to our customers.
