Enhanced data quality analysis in Smart Assist, now available!

Our MCP tools that help power responses to data health questions in Smart Assist have now been updated to provide even better quality answers. Ask Smart Assist questions like "Does this sheet look healthy?" "Can you flag anything that looks off in this sheet?" or "What should I fix in this sheet before I share this?" and Smart Assist will analyze the sheet data to make sure it's accurate, complete, and logically sound, surfacing issues like missing data, inconsistencies, duplicates, and stale rows.

What's changed: Previously, customers could ask these questions in Smart Assist and get accurate responses but it is now even better!

This enhancement automates the sheet maintenance and data-hygiene work customers tell us takes hours, starting at the sheet level (with project, portfolio, and process scopes to come). This update also applies to our MCP server, so customers using Claude or other MCP connectors will see the same improvement.

This tool enhancement will also be added to Agentic PMO (and the upcoming Agentic Services Delivery offering), enabling the agentic experience and developing into the future Execution Steward Agent, curated specifically for PMO workflows.

What's coming next: In H2 2026, we're planning to develop AI agents that users will be able to schedule to run autonomously or include in automations so they run on a set schedule or trigger, including data quality analysis, which would allow users to schedule and run data health checks autonomously.

Open a sheet in any of the new views (Table, Board, or Timeline), click the AI sparkle button to open Smart Assist, and prompt it for a data health check.
