System Admins can now automate Provisional Member approvals through IT service management (ITSM) systems like ServiceNow, Atlassian, or Freshservice. The newly available integrations streamline seat management and reduce administrative workload for System Admins at organizations with large numbers of Smartsheet users.
When a plan user becomes a provisional member, Smartsheet automatically sends a secure message through a webhook to the ITSM system, which can trigger an approval workflow within the organization’s ITSM system. After the request has been approved or denied, the ITSM system can call Smartsheet via the User Type APIs to upgrade or downgrade the user. Learn More.
