Technical Partner Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Partner Manager to join our team in the EMEA region.  As a Technical Partner Manager at Smartsheet, you will play a crucial role in supporting our GTM partners by providing technical guidance, product knowledge, and pre-sales support. You will collaborate closely with the Partner sales team, partners, and customers to drive successful implementations and ensure the successful adoption of Smartsheet solutions and driving business growth. You’ll also support the EMEA GTM Partner team in partner recruitment activities. 

You Will:

  • Collaborate with GTM Partners across the EMEA region, understanding their requirements and providing pre-sales support.
  • Conduct in-depth technical discussions, product demonstrations, and hands-on workshops to showcase the capabilities and advantages of the Smartsheet solution.
  • Support Partner Managers during new partner recruitment cycles with product demos, API details, other core and advanced product expertise during new partner recruitment meetings with prospect partners.   
  • Guide partners on scoping and delivering services
  • Develop a deep understanding of Smartsheet's product offerings and capabilities.
  • Respond to technical queries and provide guidance on product features and functionality.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to achieve partner objectives and share best-practices across the partner ecosystem
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure partner success across the Smartsheet domain (i.e., partner with internal learning and content owners, operational excellence, Partner operations, marketing resources and sales teams)
  • Collaborate with the Partner Enablement team and flag any enablement gap for a partner. 
  • Guide partners with their Solution Builds. Assist partners to overcome technical build obstacles to achieve successful client outcomes. 
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the EMEA region, contributing to the development of effective strategies. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

You Have:

  • Bachelor degree in Information Systems (or equivalent); additional certifications in relevant PPM technologies are a bonus
  • UK based 
  • Proven experience as a System/Solutions Engineer or similar role with a focus on the EMEA region. 
  • Experience with a services-centric partner community in B2B Software (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, others).
  • Understanding of enterprise software Professional Services practice economics 
  • Passion for working with leading edge, web-based technologies and a desire to deeply understand Smartsheet’s benefits, use cases, and business and technical elements
  • 5-7 years of experience in a technical field (e.g., consulting, software technical support, training, customer success, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic and high growth technology environment
  • High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with ability to deliver within defined timelines
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to drive projects from concept through completion with minimal guidance
  • Willing to travel (up to 50%) based on business need
  • Significant experience using Smartsheet, Google G Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, or other comparable applications
  • Special consideration for experience with Partners, Project/Program Management, and/or APIs
  • Fluency in French and/or Spanish, other European languages preferred
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis
