Diego is a Solutions Engineer at Smartsheet, based in Sydney, helping customers across manufacturing, education, government, healthcare, and beyond see what's possible on the platform. He's had an unusually winding path here - jewellery design, years in Australian hospitality, then education and government roles in New South Wales, where he first came across Smartsheet as a customer in 2018. He joined Customer Success in 2022, then moved into pre-sales. Across all of it, one instinct has stuck: find the mess, build the structure. These days, he gets to do that for a living - and at home, he's put his teenager on Smartsheet to track chores and earn pocket money. Old habits.
