Formulas have the power to take your Smartsheet solutions from good to great by saving you time and enabling you to make more informed decisions. Whether you're new to formulas or looking to build a stronger foundation, this session will give you the blueprints to formula success. Together, we’ll review some essential functions like COUNT, SUM, and IF, break down formula syntax for automating and analyzing data within a sheet and across sheets, troubleshoot common error messages, and explore the best practices for writing formulas on your own or with help from AI.

Sr. Solution Engineer, Large Enterprise

BJ Lee served as a Solutions Engineer at Smartsheet for over six years, during which he has supported some of the world’s most recognizable enterprise clients—including The Walt Disney Company, Google, Salesforce, and Nvidia. In this role, BJ works closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, high-impact solutions tailored to complex business needs across industries.Prior to Smartsheet, BJ spent five years in SaaS sales roles focused on ERP platforms and reporting solutions. BJ began his career with 10 years in accounting & finance while also becoming a CPA.
